The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum of the Chicago Academy of Sciences announced the arrival of Flight of Butterflies on April 25, 2024.
“This spectacular, city-wide outdoor exhibition combines nature, art, and storytelling to deliver a powerful and memorable experience for Chicagoans of all ages. Local artists have transformed aluminum butterfly sculptures with original designs, each reflecting their unique connections to nature.”
Environmental Graphiti® is honored to have created one of these vibrant butterflies. Our piece, titled Choosing Our Planet’s Future, was first displayed at the museum (2430 N. Cannon Drive, Chicago) until mid-July 2024. It has since moved to its permanent summer home in the North Pond section of Lincoln Park (2610 N. Cannon Drive, in front of the North Pond Café), where it will remain on view through the end of summer 2025.
